This is the personal web site of Richard Stallman. The views expressed here are my personal views, not those of the Free Software Foundation or the GNU Project.

Stallman invented the concept of copyleft, "Change it and redistribute it but don't strip off this freedom," and wrote (with lawyers) the GNU General Public License, which implements copyleft.

This is why I want stallman.org to remain simple: not a "user experience" but rather a place where I present certain information, views and action opportunities so you can see them.
