Things are changing. Origin is a 32 bit app and Microsoft Windows is going to stop support for 32 bit code in the near future (or so they say). Users will HAVE to use the EA app to access there accounts. The file folder you are probably looking for is in the Windows logged in user - documents - Electronic Arts folder.

Launch the game once, and the Electronic Arts folder will be created in Documents. with the Sims 4 user data folder inside. If you're not seeing it, please check your iCloud settings and make sure the folder isn't being uploaded to cloud storage.

It uses windows. I have been playing the sims for a couple hours but then my computer said OneDrive was automatically putting my files in the recycling bin. So I looked on here to try and stop the automatic recycling downloads. I recovered them all from the bin but somehow it made it so my computer won’t recognize my Electronic Arts Sims 4 files.

Mar 15, 2017 · I don't have a Sims 4 Electronic Arts folder. I have a Mac and the only things that come up when I search for it in Finder are the Sims 4 and Origin, which take me to the game. I want to download custom content, but I can't without a Mods or Electronic Arts folder. If you know any other way to get CC or how to help, that would be great. Thank you!
