Investigators searching for wreckage from last week’s deadly midair collision between a US military Black Hawk helicopter and an American Airlines plane near Washington, DC, conducted an overnight scan of the Potomac River where the aircraft fell using advanced imaging technology to map the riverbed and locate debris.

Recovery efforts continue on a smaller scale on the Potomac River, according to the NTSB, after crews last week recovered all major pieces from both aircraft.

The remains of all 67 victims of last week's midair collision of an American Airlines flight and an Army helicopter near Washington, D.C., have been recovered, authorities said Tuesday.
