LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Gov. Jim Pillen announced the resignation of Nebraska State Fire Marshal Scott Cordes on Friday.
The state fire marshal has resigned. Scott Cordes will now serve as the city administrator in Norfolk. Gov. Jim Pillen appointed him as state fire marshal in 2023. Cordes' last day is March 7.
