President Trump ordered the renaming of Denali and the Gulf of Mexico by executive order during his first hours in office.

Google will rename the Gulf of Mexico and Alaska's Denali on its maps for users in the U.S. following President Trump's controversial executive order.

The FAA announced on Monday it will change the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America and Mount Denali to Mount McKinley.

The company said that Maps will reflect any updates to the Geographic Names Information System, a database of more than 1 million geographic features in the United States.

The search and advertising giant said it would change its Google Maps names to Mount McKinley and Gulf of America once they’re officially changed by federal officials.
