Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky landed a major free agency pickup over the weekend in veteran guard Courtney Vandersloot. Vandersloot, 35, was the No. 3 overall pick in the 2011 WNBA Draft and spent her first 11 professional seasons with the Sky.

The Chicago Sky are adding two key players for their offense in 2025. The Sky needed help on offense after general manager Jeff Pagliocca chose not to extend a qualifying offer to their leading scorer from 2024,

The Sky’s Angel Reese became the first player ejected from Unrivaled, the three-on-three league. Reese, who plays for Rose, was called for a foul in the second quarter Saturday, then received two quick technical fouls after arguing.
