Amazon’s Prime Day in July is here, and it’s the perfect time to consider upgrading that old 1080p or first-gen 4K set. While it’s been nice to see TV prices fall in general over the years, there’s always room for even more discounts.

Among the good offers, there are also a lot of misleading Prime Day deals. Some of the discounts have been available for months, and Amazon has inflated the original prices of certain items to make deals look better than they really are,

Amazon Prime Day TV deals are here! The Prime Day event runs from today (July 8th) until July 11th, and there are some really excellent deals, especially at the more affordable end of the market. I'm the lead of TechRadar's TV testing team,
