Arsenal’s dynamic winger, Bukayo Saka, has been sidelined since December following a hamstring tear. Initially expected to be out until March, the club recently sparked hope among fans with images of Saka working out in a gym in Dubai.

Havertz tore his hamstring when blocking a shot in training in Dubai and Arsenal have confirmed he will not return until next season. The striker has confirmed he underwent a successful operation on Saturday, as he targets a return to fitness in the summer.

Arsenal are hopeful of a double injury boost well before the end of the season, by having both Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli back in the fold.
