Xbox Game Pass is gearing up for a strong January with plenty of great games hitting the service, but these are the ones you should play over this weekend.

Xbox has announced more games coming to Game Pass this month, including Lonely Mountain: Snow Riders, a new Sniper Elite game, Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap, and Citizen Sleeper 2.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers are normally given a heads-up on what games are coming to the service each month. There are typically two waves monthly that add a few games to the collection. We recently had the announcement for January’s second wave, and now we might have an early look at a couple of games coming to the subscription service next month.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers get Sniper Elite: Resistance for free this month, which arrives on the platform on its release date of 30 January 2025. There's a big selection of other games also being added to Game Pass in January, with some already available today.
