He notches another takedown to end the period with a 6-1 lead in short time and asserts his dominance at the start of this final match.

STATE COLLEGE | No. 1 Penn State once again asserted its dominion over college wrestling, head-locking No. 2 Iowa 30-8 at the Bryce Jordan Center on Friday in a match that cemented the Nittany Lions atop the sport's hierarchy. Penn State wrestling won eight of 10 bouts, losing one with a missing starter, and dominated some of Iowa's top wrestlers.

Iowa is looking to change the narrative with a win on Friday night. That won't be easy, though as the Hawkeyes have lost three straight and five of the last six to Penn State. With 10 wrestlers all ranked No. 7 or higher for the Nittany Lions, the path to an upset seems narrow for Iowa.

The Huskers are on a three-dual win streak, and the Hawkeyes were just dealt their first loss of the season at No. 1 Penn State.

Two top-ranked wrestling schools face off on February 7 as Iowa takes on Nebraska. Iowa was unbeaten before getting thrashed against the mighty Penn State. The Hawkeyes recovered with a win against Maryland.
