Following stage separation, the booster landed on the SpaceX drone ship A Shortfall of Gravitas in the Atlantic Ocean roughly 8 minutes after liftoff.

SpaceX crews are preparing to launch a Falcon 9 rocket from Florida on Wednesday. The launch is scheduled for 10:27 a.m. from Launch Complex 39A at Kenney Space Center. The rocket is set to send another batch of Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit.

This was the 20th flight and recovery for this Falcon 9 first stage booster, and SpaceX's 341st recovery of an orbital-class rocket.

SpaceX launched its first flight of 2025, sending a Falcon 9 rocket into space with a Thuraya 4 satellite from Cape Canaveral Launch Complex 40 in Florida.

A SpaceX Starlink mission is set to launch from Central Florida on Wednesday. The Falcon 9 rocket carry 21 Starlink satellites — including 13 with direct-to-cell capabilities — is set to take off at 10:27 a.m. from Kennedy Space Center and head toward low-Earth orbit.

The launch will be SpaceX ’s 134th Falcon flight in 2024, surpassing the company’s prior year total by 38 missions. Of this year’s 134 launches, 89 were devoted to expanding the Starlink global network (including this upcoming flight).

SpaceX is targeting Monday afternoon for a Falcon 9 launch of 24 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

SpaceX completed its first launch from Kennedy Space Center for the year on Wednesday morning. A Falcon 9 carrying 21 Starlink satellites lifted off at 10:27 a.m. Eastern time from KSC’s Launch Pad 39-A.

The launch will take place at 10:27 a.m. at the  Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, where a Falcon 9 rocket will carry the satellites into space.
