Tesla on Friday announced updates to both its Model S sedan and Model X SUV. The company explained the changes on the social media site X (formerly Twitter) and nowhere else. Both models saw an immediate $5,000 price increase for all trim levels.

Tesla gave the Model S and Model X a refresh inside and out. Unlike the Model 3 and Model Y, however, the update is understated to say the least. The brand did, however, stretch the dual-motor 2025 Tesla Model S All-Wheel Drive to an estimated 410 miles on a single charge.

An ‘upgrade’ that only the most dedicated Tesla fans will be sold on.
