Sean Burroughs, the son of former Texas Rangers player Jeff Burroughs, died suddenly on May 9 after dropping his son off at baseball practice in a Long Beach, Calif., parking lot.

Jeff coached Sean Burroughs' Little League team. Jeff married his wife Deborah in 1977. The couple decided to raise their family in Long Beach, California.
