Ohio State coach Ryan Day has been basking in the glow of winning the national championship with the Buckeyes after a rollercoaster season.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State football coach Ryan Day had praise for defensive coordinator Jim Knowles on Sunday. While speaking at the Buckeyes' championship celebration inside Ohio Stadium, Day gave Knowles a shoutout and mentioned the defense’s dominance throughout the College Football Playoff.

Ryan Day led the Ohio State Buckeyes to the national championship on Monday, Jan. 20 in a win over Notre Dame that showed how much his team developed over the course of the first ever 12-team College Football Playoff.
