The New York Islanders head into a matchup against the Colorado Avalanche as winners of four consecutive games

Brock Nelson also scored and Kyle Palmieri added two assists for the Islanders, who have won six of their last eight games.

The Islanders scored three goals in the second period and went on to a 3-1 win over the Blue Jackets on Monday.
