The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum announced their 2025 Hall of Fame class on Tuesday, with only three former players selected - Ichirio Suzuki, CC Sabathia and Billy Wagner.

On Tuesday, the Baseball Writers' Association of America announced the latest players inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame.

Billy Wagner, who briefly pitched for the Red Sox in 2009, has been elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame alongside Ichiro Suzuki and CC Sabathia in his final year of eligibility.

Wagner had a 1.98 earned run average and struck out 22 of the 56 batters he faced in his 15 games for the Red sox in 2009.
