New York.Rather than replacing Russell Westbrook, who was a reserve for the first couple months of the season, Gordon supplanted third-year guard Christian Braun, who had started each of his first 45 games of 2024/25 and just set a personal career high with 28 points on Monday.

Denver Nuggets guard Russell Westbrook entered Wednesday's game against the New York Knicks averaging 13.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 6.4 assists in his 17th NBA season. Appearing in all 46 games for Denver, Westbrook has been a starter for 25 of them.

Westbrook supplied 14 points (5-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-6 FT), 14 rebounds, four assists and one block over 37 minutes during Wednesday's 122-112 loss to the Knicks.
