Trump signed an executive order to prevent people who were biologically assigned male at birth from participating in women's or girls' sporting events.

The executive order will also advise private sporting bodies to attend an in-person meeting at the White House to hear accounts from female athletes, according to the document. This comes after Trump also signed an executive order last week that was looking to restrict gender-affirming care for anyone under the age of 19.

Trump’s executive order requests that the Secretary of Education take action against educational institutions and athletic associations that allow transgender athletes to compete in the women’s division. The executive order threatens to review grants and rescind funding to institutions that do not comply.
