Kansas City Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo had the worst season of his mostly distinguished coaching career when he spent Sundays on the New Orleans Saints' sideline in the Superdome. It was a house of horrors for him again in the Super Bowl against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night.

If there is one thing that Kansas City Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo is known for more than anything else, it's his ability to design creative blitz packages that confuse and overwhelm opposing offensive lines and the quarterback behind them.

"It's a little overwhelming and humbling," Steve Spagnuolo said. "I just hope we can finish it off the right way."

In order for the Chiefs to three-peat Spagnuolo is going to have to have another great performance against the Philadelphia Eagles, who have Saquon Barkley and the number one scoring offense in the postseason.

Jalen Hurts could have a long day if the Philadelphia Eagles drop back to pass frequently in Super Bowl LIX against the Kansas City Chiefs. Steve Spagnuolo has traditionally been able to get after the Eagles' quarterback in three career matchups since 2021.
