On Thursday at 3:06 a.m. EDT an updated winter storm watch was issued by the National Weather Service valid from 8 p.m. EDT until Friday 8 p.m. EDT for Emmet, Cheboygan, Chippewa, Mackinac and Charlevoix counties.
