LOS ANGELES -- Quinton Byfield scored for the fifth straight game, and Darcy Kuemper made 21 saves for his third shutout of the season in the Los Angeles Kings’ 3-0 win against the Washington Capitals at Crypto.com Arena on Thursday.

Darcy Kuemper made 21 saves for the Los Angeles Kings in a 3-0 win against the visiting Washington Capitals on Thursday night. It was the 34th career shutout and third of the season for Kuemper, who was traded to the Kings from Washington last June in exchange for forward Pierre-Luc Dubois.

Kevin Fiala and Quinton Byfield score 47 seconds apart early in the third period and Kuemper makes 21 saves as the Kings hold Ovechkin to no shots on goal in a 3-0 win, their fourth straight.
