Massive blankets of snow and ice are expected in parts of the US this weekend, with frosty conditions seen as far south as Florida.

As freezing temperatures stun iguanas and send them plummeting from trees, South Floridians rush to collect the invasive lizards and deliver them to FWC drop-off sites.

Wilkins said his trappers started working from about 5 a.m. to 6 a.m. to take advantage of the weather and had already been to at least 100 locations by Sunday afternoon.
