The Houston Rockets will have to make do without their lead guard for a little while. Fred VanVleet was ruled out on a "week to week" basis by head coach Ime Udoka, Danielle Lerner of The Houston Chronicle reported on Monday.

Rockets coach Ime Udoka could not provide an exact timetable for Fred VanVleet's return from a right-ankle strain.
