3 killed in shooting at North Austin Target, including 1 child; suspect arrested
Three people, including a child, were killed in a shooting in the parking lot of the Target at 8601 Research Blvd., near Ohlen Road, in North Austin on Monday afternoon. Austin Police Department (APD) Chief Lisa Davis said a call came in around 2:15 p.m. of a shooting at the Target, and officers arrived on the scene shortly after.
A grandfather and granddaughter killed in Monday’s shooting at a Target in Austin have been identified as the 32-year-old alleged gunman is now facing three murder charges.
An approximately 30-acre retail center could be coming to Dripping Springs and possibly bring a Target store along.
