The community came together at events Friday to warmly remember the 17 people who died in the Feb. 14, 2018, shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland.

Students and staff across the district will participate in a variety of volunteer and service projects in honor of the lives lost.

Local law enforcement officials and the school district are making sure mistakes made 7 years ago in Parkland are not repeated by implementing strong school safety measures.

Jim Berry says the pain is some the victims families cope with every day. Patricia Oliver, who lost her son Joaquin, turned to psychic for comfort.
