As Delhi Assembly elections approach, exit poll data reveals a strong likelihood of a BJP victory, marking the end of its 27-year wait for power in the capital. According to the latest exit poll results from 11 agencies,

"All exit poll results are showing BJP taking lead. We have been saying that BJP is going to form the government in Delhi. People have rejected Arvind Kejriwal's 11-year rule," BJP MP Yogender Chandolia tells PTI.

Most exit polls on Wednesday projected BJP's return in Delhi after 27 years, while AAP is predicted to not hit the majority mark of 36 in the 70-seat Delhi assembly. Voting for Delhi assembly election took place today on all 70 seats.

The Congress, which governed Delhi for 15 years until 2013, is hoping for a revival after failing to secure a single seat in the last two elections. Exit polls will be released after 6:30 pm, with live updates available on the Business Standard website.

BJP MP Yogendra Chandoliya said on Wednesday that the exit polls indicate the BJP has "defeated" Arvind Kejriwal and his "corrupt government." Polling to elect the 70-member assembly of Delhi concluded on Wednesday evening with a voter turnout of 60.
