Two Minnesota lawmakers, John Hoffman and Melisa Hortman, are in critical condition after being shot at their homes 8 miles apart.

Minnesota lawmakers Melissa Hortman and John Hoffman were shot along with their partners on Saturday (June 14). Authorities suspect that they were targeted by the same person. While Hortman died, Hoffman underwent surgery.
