Houston, we have a rat problem. The Houston police property warehouse, where thousands of pounds of drugs, blood samples and countless pieces of evidence have been collected at crime scenes, is now in desperate need of a clean-up as it has been attracting rodents for years.

Authorities have only identified the victim as an adult man. It's unclear how the vehicle may have ended up in the water.

A man was found dead in a vehicle submerged in White Oak Bayou near Heights Boulevard Friday evening, according to the Houston Police Department. A Houston Fire Department spokesperson told the Chronicle firefighters were initially dispatched Friday afternoon to help recover a red vehicle that was found flipped and submerged in White Oak Bayou.
