The Department of Homeland Security is emailing notifications to individuals who entered the U.S. under the CHNV parole program, established in 2022.

The Department of Homeland Security said Thursday that it has begun notifying hundreds of thousands of Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans and Venezuelans that their temporary permission to live and work in the United States has been revoked and that they should leave the country.

The Trump administration is telling more than 500,000 migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela that their legal status is being revoked. CBS News immigration and politics reporter Camilo Montoya-Galvez has more.
