One person has died and multiple others were injured after a recreational boat collided with a ferry carrying 45 people in Clearwater, Florida, police told CNN.

A boat struck a Clearwater Ferry carrying over 40 people near the Memorial Causeway bridge in Florida on Sunday, April 27, the Clearwater Police announced in a Facebook post. One person died from their injuries and multiple others have been seriously injured.
