Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna confirmed the brand's first-ever electric vehicles will be unveiled on October 9 during Ferrari's Capital Markets Day event

Sounds like Ferrari’s first electric car will be revealed on 9 October, according to a cryptic line from its big boss Benedetto Vigna.

Breaking its tradition for roaring petrol engines, Ferrari's much-awaited EV will be showcased at a capital markets day on Oct. 9.

Ferrari Chairman John Elkann stated as early as 2021 that the automaker would launch its first electric vehicle in 2025. Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna has now confirmed the vehicle will debut on Oct. 9 during the company’s scheduled capital markets day presentation. He also revealed the EV will be one of six new Ferraris arriving in 2025.
