A security guard is recovering in the hospital after getting shot inside an Aldi store Friday night. Officers responded to the shooting at the grocery store, located at 1311 E. Franklin Ave. in Minneapolis just after 8 p.

A security guard for Aldi is recovering on Saturday morning after being shot by a man in the store on Friday night. The security guard says he confronted the man in the store, when things began to escalate he tried to use mace on the man and that's when the man fired a weapon at him.

A security guard was shot inside a Minneapolis store Friday following a confrontation with another man. According to the Minneapolis Police Department, the incident occurred around 8 p.m. inside an Aldi store at 1311 Franklin Avenue East.
