Joseph R. Cali Jr., MD, FACS, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained surgeon specializing in colon and rectal surgery. He's an associate professor in the Department of Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. Cali earned his doctorate of medicine from Creighton University School of Medicine. He completed a general surgery residency at Boston Medical Center - Newton Pavilion and a fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He and his wife are the parents of twins. As a family, they enjoy camping, snow skiing, and hiking.
