"I had an extremely disappointing experience at this PetSmart location. I came in to purchase specific urinary-health wet food for my cat and had found an online deal that I hoped the store could honor. The manager on duty at that time was very helpful and had no issue applying the discount; she simply adjusted the price by removing a dollar amount.\n\nI bought a few different flavors since I wasn't sure which my cat would prefer. Once I realized he didn't like one of them, I returned the very next day to exchange just that flavor for another, the exact same product line, just a different variety. Unfortunately, the helpful manager from the day before was not working.\n\nI explained the situation and showed my receipt, but the associate told me I would have to pay full price for the replacement, which made no sense. They then called a manager, who repeated the same thing, that they couldn't honor a discount another manager had already applied, even with clear proof on my receipt. They insisted I show the online deal again, which should not have been necessary, since it had already been verified and honored the day before.\n\nThey refused to work with me and ultimately chose to inconvenience me over a simple flavor exchange. This is my closest location, but after this experience I will be avoiding it. I went to the Sawmill location immediately afterward, and they resolved everything without hesitation. They were shocked that the Plain City location would not assist me."

Litter on NYC streets is easy to see, but understanding why it happens is a lot harder. The Sanitation Foundation, in collaboration with Dreyfus Advisors, conducted a first-of-its-kind study to better understand how New Yorkers think about litter and their role in keeping the city clean.
You can report an area where people repeatedly litter. This also includes: You can’t report a one-time occurrence of littering. Please note that if you're a property owner, you are responsible for keeping the sidewalks and gutters next to your property clean. You're responsible even if you reported littering.
Define litter. litter synonyms, litter pronunciation, litter translation, English dictionary definition of litter. n. 1. a. Carelessly discarded refuse, such as wastepaper: the litter in the streets after a parade. b. A disorderly accumulation of objects; a pile.
Litter is rubbish that is left lying around outside. If you see litter in the corridor, pick it up. On Wednesday we cleared a beach and woodland of litter.
Litter can roughly be defined as any type of waste material that has been discarded improperly, either intentionally or unintentionally, in a public space. If it’s in a trash can, it’s trash. If it never makes it to the can and isn’t recycled, it’s litter.
litter (third-person singular simple present litters, present participle littering, simple past and past participle littered) (intransitive) To drop or throw trash without properly disposing of it (as discarding in public areas rather than trash receptacles).
